Third Eye Film Festival (TEFF) will run its 2016 inaugural lineup again in New Orleans, showcasing 36 films in horror, fantasy, and spiritual genres from 13 different countries!
The festival celebrates that over half of the selected films were created by women. Through the Female Eye category, TEFF supports female filmmakers by offering discounted submission fees and highlighting their work. The goal of this category is to break stigmas and feature powerful female-driven content in genre filmmaking, ultimately opening doors to social change.
TEFF also encourages unconventional storytelling through its Spiritual/Mysticism category. This category provides a home for genre-fluid films about humanity, the intangible, and what lies beyond. TEFF believes magic can mean anything from astrology, to higher powers, to meditation. With this category, the festival proudly supports the marriage of art & personal truths.
At Canterbury House Apartments in Houma, Louisiana, we pride ourselves on informing our residents about all the upcoming events our beautiful community has to offer. Don’t hesitate to join this event on Thursday!
